Why Christian Civics?

If there is any dimension of our lives that we are not actively, regularly and rigorously bringing under the scrutiny of the gospel and the lordship of Christ Jesus, that is a dimension of our lives that we are being discipled in by the world around us.

Through engaging classes, courses and content, this Civic Guideline provides ministry leaders and congregants with a solid foundation on how to facilitate meaningful missionary encounters between the Church and the surrounding world.

WHO is the Church?

WHO does the Church belong to?

WHO is the U.S. Government?

WHO should influence

the Government Representatives and Laws?

“When the godly succeed, everyone is glad. When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding.”

Proverbs 28:12

Does GOD’S WORD say ANYTHING about

Government?

Romans 13:1 – “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.”

13:5 – “Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’s sake.”

HOW can YOU

influence

the Government?

FOR

…to assemble and preach the word

…to pray in public

…to take our Bibles to school

…to speak the Word of God

in any surroundings

Freedoms that God gave us!

Our country needs the church to rise up and be a major influence in our community and nation.

We the People need YOU to do your part.

If not YOU…

then WHO???

DUTY IS OURS;

RESULTS ARE GOD’S.”

-JOHN QUINCY ADAMS
